really, even wondering what is something can be considered a
legitimate tought-process initiated by an abstract piece. sure, with a
painting, you would not anticipate the necessity for a 'real' source
material, but my stance is that it really doesn't have to matter. in
the end, this could be a photograph of a painting..
it could, but then there would be all those copyright issues...
i like karenina though not quite as much as that fabulous photo of
yours in our book...
