Ascent Beginning, by Godfrey. It reminds me more of one of HCB's pictures, also shot from above. Of course, HCB was probably well aware of Rodchenko's style. On the other hand, he didn't much approve of photos taken from strange angles and viewpoints, as Rodchenko often did. Rodchenko was opposed to photos all being shot from the level of the navel, so he sought out strange angles.
For me Rodchenko is a bit hit & miss. I don't much like the strange angles and montage style, but he was ahead of his time and defined a very influential style, with Mayakovsky. I prefer his more straight work.
