What - you were 5 minutes from my apartment and you didn't even let me know
you were in NY??? Fernando, shame on you :-)
Sorry :-(

I think you were at the Nancy Hoffman gallery and the guy is MIchael
Gregory...
West Broadway has turned into a glitzy shopping mall for the most part...
mmmh, nope, that's not the one, so I'm probably confused, might not be
Prince St. then, but was in Soho for sure. These ones you linked I
actually like them much more; this guy I'm talking about was more
commercial, less artistic, the kind of photo you would find in "The
Sharper Image" ;-)

Btw for all of you on the list...
I'm not only the only Ann Sanfedele in NYC but the only one in the USA...
and despite the photo I showed everyone
called "trash" that is on St Marks Place, I don't live in a slum and I do
have a "spare" room...

So dammit, if you are visiting NYC gimmy a heads up... I might or might not
be able to come out and play and you
may have a place to stay, but it would be nice to meet some more of you.
I'm taking a raincheck. We go fairly often to NYC (my wife and I love
the city) and always stay close to Soho (going to "Novecento" on
W.Broadway is a mandatory stop for us to get a bit of Argentine
"cuisine" AKA beef) so next time we will meet up for a coffee, promise
;-)

Hi maybe some pdmler in NYC can help me.

I went to NYC this weekend to meet some friends that were on vacation
there. We were strolling through Soho, I believe on West Broadway, and
we saw this Photographer's Gallery with lots of large, sharp, really
constratry oversaturated landscape shots.

I think this gallery is probably located close to Prince St. and W.
Broadway but I'm not sure. I forgot to write down the photographer's
name, not really that I liked that much what I saw (too eye candy for
my taste) but more out of curiosity I wanted to know how he is
achiving so much resolution, as it looked he is using a DSLR (maybe
stitching various snapshots).

Anyway, if you happen to know the name of the photographer please send
me a message. Thanks!
