What - you were 5 minutes from my apartment and you didn't even let me know
you were in NY??? Fernando, shame on you :-)

I think you were at the Nancy Hoffman gallery and the guy is MIchael
Gregory...
West Broadway has turned into a glitzy shopping mall for the most part...

Btw for all of you on the list...
I'm not only the only Ann Sanfedele in NYC but the only one in the USA...
and despite the photo I showed everyone
called "trash" that is on St Marks Place, I don't live in a slum and I do
have a "spare" room...

So dammit, if you are visiting NYC gimmy a heads up... I might or might not
be able to come out and play and you
may have a place to stay, but it would be nice to meet some more of you.

Saying it's not a slum is damning with faint praise, Ann!
hehe -- I was harking back to someone's response to the "trash" store on St Marks... photo .. Yes it is a great neighborhood still - despite the encroachment of NYU and recent high rises
going up... and Stromboli's is alive and well.

Your
neighbourhood is like the coolest in the world! Right around the
corner from Stromboli's pizza (which I'm glad I got to try before I
went veggie), 10 minute walk from Chinatown, St. Mark's Square, etc,
etc.

cheers,
frank

Btw, my friends Fred and Greta will probably be coming to visit soon... if there is something not to large that you want (or Dave wants) like that Sigma lens I probably could persuede them to bring it back across the border... I can't remember if you met them or one of them on that 2004 trip... but I think you did.

xo,
ann
