That's a helluva shot (perhaps pun intended). Seriously, that's a wonderful shot. You caught the silhouette perfectly, and I love the placement of the birds in the tree and the placement of the tree within the frame - nice composition! cheers, frank =========== Thanks, frank! I was actually in that area to shoot cherry blossoms, then the birds flew into the trees. The cherry blossoms didn't fare nearly as well -- too windy. ---------------------- I like the graphics and B&W but as mentioned before it'd be cool to see even more birds. One day I'll try to get a shot of an old Sycamore tree in the next town over where 20 or so vultures roost on a regular basis. Talk about creepy... ========== Thanks, Christian. Well, I probably can get them again, though not necessarily in those trees. (Though if I get them in other trees maybe I could cut and paste.) And somehow, I don't think their favorite spot, on the Bocce court by the golf course would have the same impact. ;-) Yes, that would definitely be creepy. -------------------- I like it a lot Marnie; branches thrusting from low-left corner drive my eyes to the opposite corner. I believe is nicely balanced and has a moody rendering that goes with the subject. =========== Thanks, fernando. ---------------------- I like it. Gloomy, moody. Like me:-). Paul =========== Thanks, Paul. Bit surprised this one got so much comment, just threw it out for fun. Although I have been worried about the crows pushing out other birds, so I've been thinking of taking some shots for sometime.
