We sometimes forget that "consumer" grade lenses have advantages in some situations. They are, for example, generally much smaller than their "professional" bretheren. Compare a 28-70/2.8 with a 28-80/4.5-5.6. In some cases - backpacking, rock climbing, etc. - a "consumer" lens may be a better choice even for a 'pro". This especially advantageous when using a lightweight, compact camera like the MZ-S. -- Mark Roberts www.robertstech.com - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
