My opinion FWIW. Aperture selection is a lens function, so I expect to find its user interface on the lens. Shutter speed selection is a camera body function (in the case of a focal plane shutter), so I expect to find its user interface on the camera body. In the same manner I expect to find the controls for a (non RTF) flash unit ~on~ the flash unit.
When manufacturers follow these basic philosophies their products become more intuitive. I cannot speak for either Z1p or MZ-S (not owning or using either) but my bane is manufacturers who use combined button pressing routines to get a lot of functions out of a few buttons, to reduce costs. To me, that is the epitome of non-intuitiveness. Regards, Anthony Farr - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. To unsubscribe, go to http://www.pdml.net and follow the directions.
