My S.O., the devious Dr. Lisa, has just accepted a position at Boston
Children's Hospital, so it looks like we're blowin' this popsicle stand*
and moving to beantown. She's *very* excited about this; it's a major
upward career move for her. She delights in noting that when she was
applying to medical schools all those years ago she didn't even get an
interview at Harvard Medical School -- now she'll be teaching there :)
Now *I* have to find a teaching position somewhere in Boston...
Wish me luck, folks, this isn't a good time for job seekers.
I've heard there's a college somewhere around Harvard Square. Might look
into whether they've got any openings.
