I do get it, you're just not paying attention to what I'm saying.
Lightroom imposes extra steps on me if I don't want to use the
Auto-Import feature and the default file organization. I can't just
point the file browser to the folder I want to work on. You're missing
the simple fact that with Bridge, I don't have to Import in the first
place, I want to work on files in a certain place, I just go there.
Lightroom's organizational features (the Library and how you interact
with it) get in my way rather than making my life easier and you're
stuck with using them.

So Lightroom adds extra steps (Import) in order to gain features I
don't want (the Library) but can't get away from (The Library once
again).

Lightroom is good software, but it doesn't work for me.
