I don't believe I said anything about 'colour corrected lenses'; I said
that the DA coatings were better than the FA coatings, and that this
ought to be considered as a factor when comparing the 55/1.4 to the
diversity of other 50mm lenses available.

Now, 'better' is obviously subjective, but the BIV end of the spectrum
comes through more richly in the DA lenses I have generally than in the
FA lenses I have.
