Does anyone have any insights into how the photo selection process for
the PENTAX Gallery works? I am just curious.

A while back, I submitted a group of images. Two weeks later, no
action had been taken on the first group, and I submitted a second
group.

After another week or two, one from the second group was accepted, and
most of the others were "declined." Four images from the first group
remained "under review," however. Does it mean anything that they
were kept in that category while others submitted at the same time or
two weeks later have been processed?

While I am mostly curious about the procedure, I guess I am also
trying to convince myself that the remaining images have purposely
been singled out and therefore have a decent change of making the
gallery, even though that seems unlikely, based on my limited
knowledge of the system and limited past experience.
