A agree with you 100% on the last point: I too have had enough of
seeing these kinds of photos. But they *are* fun to do :)
Seriously, what I enjoy about taking these shots is the chance to
really experiment with composition; to see how many different good
compositions I can get from a single subject. Streams and waterfalls
seem to lend themselves to this practice.
