John, the park is called Markham Park, west of Ft. Lauderdale, right at the edge of the Everglades. It is a county park and has every conceivable feature you can imagine, even a rifle and pistol range. Many of the activities are free, including the bike trails. There are several miles of trails and they are very "technical". Some of the mountain bike shots were shot at a different facility near Ocala, FL. It is in an old strip mine and has some very steep jumps whereas the Markham site much less so.
The Markham site is where Nate took his bad spill that required almost 6 hours of surgery. He is having a follow-up surgery on July 2 to remove a plate that is no longer functional.
