I was quite happy with the Pen E-P1 and counting the years until I could afford one...but then I saw these photos:

And I have to wonder exactly how much firmware is loaded into that lens. Are the circuit boards solely for focusing, or are they responsible for distortion/CA/PF/crapshoot correction too? I have the benefit of being able to sit back and watch. And that's just what I'm going to do. --M. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- http://www.EnticingTheLight.com -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- 2009/6/19 Cotty <[email protected]>: > On 18/6/09, Scott Loveless, discombobulated, unleashed: > >>Call me a Luddite or curmudgeon or jack-ass or whatever, but it sure >>would be nice if the folks who made our cameras would make a model or >>two that didn't include a bunch of fluff, like facial recognition (I'm >>pretty good with that myself) and video.
