Hi Brian: I think William makes a good point; it's hard for me to get a
good sense of the texture; I mean I get that it's decaying machinery,
but
when I look at it I don't get that "I can just feel what I'm seeing"
feeling. If that doesn't make any sense to you, just ignore it :-).
Cheers, Christine

You always make perfect sense, Christine.....

As I replied to William, it has much more impact at full screen
resolution and I had second thoughts about posting it when I saw it at
PESO size. You''ve confirmed my own feelings about it.

This is a complete aside to the conversation but..
Many, many years ago, I moved from my home town in Saskatchewan to the big city of Calgary. I was a much younger man, and much more vain, I am sure. I decided that I was tired of the moniker that I had been stuck with as a child, and so I tried to remember that my name was William, and not Bill. Unfortunately, I had a habit of forgeting that I was trying to go by my given name, and so I would introduce myself as William, and then not respond to that name when people addressed me.
It was, in today's (or possibly yesterday') parlance, an epic fail.
So, a couple of decades later, I get onto the internet and join a mail list. I start signing my name William for no particular reason. I suppose Bill Casselbury had something to do with it. I recall signing my name Bill in Saskatchewan or some such very early on.
But I digress.
So, I read a couple of posts about William sawing off on a picture, and I don't know who the people are writing about for a moment.

Anyway, Brian, I woul like to see that picture larger. My screen is 1200 x 1920. If you could post someting big enough to fill it, I'll probably steal it for wallpaper.
