I think part of the visual confusion is that the left edge should be at the top, to make the streaks of rust run down the plate, rather than across it. Unless the wind is very strong and constant in situ.

I think it's a shot with great potential. If it looked good on your screen, as if you'd made a large print of it, it will probably look great once enlarged and printed.
