Damn, the original interpretation was so, so, much more interesting...

Actually, I meant 'played with one of the cameras', of course.

I noticed Jessops in London pushing them today so I went in
to have a look.
The Olympus demonstrators were there so I played with one.
It's quite nice,
reasonable build quality, lovely size and design but what
kills it stone
dead for me is that there is no viewfinder except the screen
on the back,
which I can only see properly if I put my reading glasses on,
so it's a big
no-no for me unfortunately, and I told the man from Olympus.
I also told him
that I own an E-1 and an E-500, and made sure he saw my M8 so
he knew they'd
really lost a likely sale by that omission.

Deliveries of the E-P1 seem to have started in some markets now.
Photo of the E-P1 fitted with Panasonic DMW-MA1 mount adapter and
Olympus Zuiko Digital 50-200/2.8-3.5 lens (set to 200mm
with the lens
hood on, it's kinda funny lookin. ;-) ...

The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or
drinking; he can ruin himself with gambling. If he does he is certainly a damn
fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a
free man any more than a dog.
