I have recently started to use jalbum a bit more, now that i use my mac more. I find it relatively easy to use for the albums and now that i remember were the filter is for copy right, i;'m good. It loads up fine on my hosting site.
I should make a donation. For $25 a year, you could use photo dot net. I found Picasa difficult for loading when i first started using it, and went back to photo dot net. I use flickr for those times photo dot net might be down.
