I've used Jalbum for several years now and any GESOs I've shared have been done with it.
I've just photographed a music festival and after exporting jpegs to a different directory for each band using Lightroom, Jalbum does a great job of creating a structured album. You can make html or flash albums and it's easy to add new photos and directories afterwards. http://www.mitch.myzen.co.uk/Togfest09/Togfest2009/index.html http://tinyurl.com/lvbqf6 I host on the 2Gb I get bundled with my ISP and Jalbum has a built-in ftp client which sorts out the uploading / updating of the album. Jalbum do a hosting service for 19Euros / year for 1 Gb and 95Euros for 10Gb and there are plenty of other hosting services available. So far as linking to a blog is concerned, there's a Wordpress Jalbum Badge plugin. I'm not a blogger so have not used it - details here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/jalbum-badge/ Chris > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of > gldnbearz > Sent: 30 June 2009 00:58 > To: Pentax-Discuss Mail List > Subject: OT - Picasa Web Album, JAlbum, or Zenfolio? > > I know that several of you use Picasa Web Album, JAlbum, or Zenfolio > for your on-line photo sharing. > -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
