I've used Jalbum for several years now and any GESOs I've shared have been
done with it.

I've just photographed a music festival and after exporting jpegs to a
different directory for each band using Lightroom, Jalbum does a great job
of creating a structured album. You can make html or flash albums and it's
easy to add new photos and directories afterwards.

I host on the 2Gb I get bundled with my ISP and Jalbum has a built-in ftp
client which sorts out the uploading / updating of the album.

Jalbum do a hosting service for 19Euros / year for 1 Gb and 95Euros for 10Gb
and there are plenty of other hosting services available.

So far as linking to a blog is concerned, there's a Wordpress Jalbum Badge
plugin. I'm not a blogger so have not used it - details here:
