Ann, The sensor is right where the film would be. Look in the operating manual for sensor cleaning. Pentax has a special mode that is like putting the camera in bulb mode. It flips the mirror up and opens the shutter until you close it. Then you can try a big blower to puff on the sensor and blow the dust off. Otherwise, visit the repairman or get a cleaning kit on ebay. Regards, Bob S.
