Sounds like a good idea to me. A recap on my K10D tilt dilemma, firstly sent the camera off for service locally, came back with the same tilt but the AF had been adjusted. Second time it made its way to Japan (apparently, took the same time as the first service), it came back with the sensor matching the finder but neither were square in relation to the base of the camera, very handy. Lastly they replaced it with a unit specially checked by a Japanese tech (so I was told), this one seemed to work OK so I sold it pronto. Now I seem to have a similar problem with my quite young K20D. Don't say a thing Savage!
