Hi, noticed the LX wink ;-) in subject? I might be an owner of LX soon, IF... I have been offered an LX with finder for a very good price, BUT it has the sticky mirror syndrome. It's I think one of earlier LXes, with 3200 iso maximum, double-lined LX logo near iso dial and s/n of 538... (what generation it is?).
How much might cost curing the sticky mirror or a general CLA? Our local pentax authorised service no longer services LXes (dumb bastards!) so it will have to be sent to Belgium or Germany (where nearest service is). Any European member with idea how much cost his LX's sticky mirror syndrome? And general CLA? The price is really good, plus F1A finder, in used but still nice condition, BUT the added cost of repair... how much?!? Please help! It's quite urgent... Thanks a lot!
