I've got one, but don't use it that much because I tend to favour my Vivitar (Komine) 28mm f/2. It's roughly the same size, but an important stop faster.
Nothing wrong with the Pentax 28, though; typical SMC colours and sharp wide open (at least for me). I've had no issues with my aperture ring; it turns just fine, but I leave it at 'A' anyway.
