I don't know ... I don't carry cameras in my pocket, the G9/G10/G11
are too heavy for that too. The controls are ok, a bit fussy. Finish
is nice.

My friend Jim had his G10 with him today and it felt nice but wow,
there are a lot of buttons, dials and such. Both he and another friend
have them and complain they don't focus particularly accurately.

I had the Panny LX1 ... it's the only digital compact I've owned that
had a truly stunning lens and produced superb results. Photos from it
were juried into three or four exhibitions, one took some award. I bet
the LX3/D-Lux 4 are very good.

But overall these compacts are just too limiting for my interest with
their low sensitivity and clumsy control layouts. I wish there was one
that had the simple, elegant, easy to use controls of the Rollei 35S.
