Boris, Battery is still good to go with substantial charge left. I bought a 2nd battery, but the K7 is not like the K10. I had several days of shooting left after it showed 3/4 full. (Probably several 100 photos and I'm still chimping heavily.) This is something Pentax fixed on the K7! Regards, Bob S.
