Hey Guys/Gals, A heads-up about Li-Ion batteries: In order to get the best performance out of the battery and the camera, charge them well, and charge them often. Unlike Ni-cad batteries that suffered from "memory" issues if you didn't drain them completely before recharging, Li-Ion's don't, and in fact prefer frequent, shallow charges. The camera will also perform better when drawing power from a fully charged battery than an almost drained one.
Maybe somebody would like to compare the performance of the K-7 with a fresh battery and an old one. Test fps and AF speed. Li-Ion batteries are usually spec'd for 300-500 charges. These are *full* charges, meaning if you charge the battery after it's drained 25%, 4 charges will constitute 1 full charge.
