The micro 4/3 format is essentially a sensor size and lens mount/registration spec. All that stuff (live view interruption time, if any ) could possibly change in later designs of the camera bodies as time goes by. The sensor architecture and viewfinder processing isnt format locked aside from no room for a mirror. Cost could be prohibiitive now, but not later.

You can't output the (low-rez) LV feed and also a full-rez image from the sensor at the same time. Also resetting the image involves a sensor reset, which lowers noise levels. -- M.
