It was always going to be hard to get information on this product,
because it predates the widespread public use of the internet and is
not a classic or cult brand.

However, search the right way and some snippets of information get
teased up to the surface.  I googled:
+"IMAGE TB-100" +flash
and amongst the top results was:

The guy asking the questions uses his on a Pentax K10D, and down the
thread made this observation,
"Oh, by the way, my IMAGE TB-100 voltage tested out @ 21 volts. I
chickened out though and bought a "safe converter" hotshoe adaptor. It
steps down the voltage to 12 volts."

There you go, 21V.  What limit does the camera manual recommend?
