Well I'll be darned. My friend was right! :^)

As a (Pentax) side note, we had a nice snowstorm here yesterday. For 
once the weather lived up to the media hype. The snow was the sticky 
type which adheres to everything in a very photogenic fashion. Just 
got in after taking some pretty snow pictures with my ME Super/28mm 
F3.5.
