Back before I went digital, I had a "no crop" policy - or to be more precise, I would only "crop in the viewfinder". With digital I crop liberally, and I've softened my views wrt cropping film negatives, but I still won't crop any rangefinder photos - that will (I expect) continue when I get my M9 (I figure maybe I'll get a used one about the time the M14 comes out...). There's no rationality to my cropping policy (that way I don't have to explain why), it's just what it is. ;-) Thanks for looking and commenting, to everyone who did so. cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
