Apple seem to be prepared to carry out a non-warranty repair - the
so-called
biohazard doesn't seem to be so important that they're not prepared or
equipped to work on it.
Apple is taking on the job of public health nanny, something they have no
business doing. If a component fails due to overheat caused by grot build
up, then void the warranty for that reason, but a general warranty refusal
based on the presence of a questionably toxic substance (like as if nothing
built into a computer is toxic anyway) that is perfectly legal to buy and
use just doesn't fly.
Apple is like a corporate Born Again non smoker on this one.
