It's not a lens, it's a converter, so hopefully I can make an additional

I would like to second (actually, sixth or so by my count) the request
for a 1.4x SDM TC, to go with my DA*300/4.
The TC needs to tell the body of its existence, for shake reduction,
AF, and EXIF purposes.
I have the Tamron 1.4x, and it passes the SDM signal, but the focus
oscillates about the correct point, and often fails to lock.
I had the same converter some times ago. Not a stellar performer and no
weatherproof at all. Basically the same story with Kenko MC7 (2x TC).
