You can simulate this in the comfort of your own home while you're
cooking.
Just open the oven door to peek at things or move them around a bit.
If
you're wearing glasses they will steam up immediately.
The way to overcome it is to tie your head in a plastic bag while
you're
cooking.

When I tried it, my glasses stayed clear but the bag fogged up.
