I think so. By the way, Denon is now owned by Marantz, as is Mission.
Denon Make exceptional tape decks and radios. Mission make exceptional speakers. I would say Denon is the only truly 'hi-fi' system which has been mentioned in this debate so far. Sony, Panasonic, JVC and AIWA are all pretty good, and roughly all as good as each other.
