I'd be eager to buy a FF camera without AF if it had the right combination
of features & price.

Imagine something like a Panny G1 with an FF sensor, any reasonable
lens mount (Pentax K, Canon FD, Nikon, even M42), manual focus but
auto-exposure -- at least no stop-down metering (which probably means
not Leica mount), and preferably an AE auto mode.

Not everyone's cup of tea, to be sure, even completely useless for
many photographers, but at any price below the Sony 850 I think
that would sell like hotcakes.
