As a courtesy to the seller, you might want to ask him what he
prefers. Right now the banking situation in Argentina is in big
turmoil, and for example banks won't let people withdraw more than
something like $250 per week. This is your own money you cannot
withdraw if you have it in a bank in my country. Really sad. Of
course, it is said there that big bank customers, the ones with the
really big accounts were told about this beforehand. As usual, it is
the small guy who suffers.

So, there's a big chance that if you sent a money order or something
that requires being cashed in a bank, your seller won't be able to see
the money for quite a few months. Never underestimate the power of a
FedEx envelope with a few dollars inside... (not that I would
recommend doing this, it is against FedEx regulations)

Also, depending on where you are and where the seller is, my mother in
law is visiting from Buenos Aires right now, staying for a few weeks.
I'm sure she wouldn't mind taking the money if the seller can pick it
up there, and you decide to trust me and her :-)
