Less really. Quark had a WYSIWYG OS shell long before Lisa came around. It ran
on the Apple // and was called Catalyst. I don't know if it's ever been clear
where it originated, but Apple had the temerity to make the interface work and
then marketed it successfully. I'll bet they're not sorry:-). The Kodak
annoyance won't have anyone slashing their wrists. Maybe pricking their thumb
with a pin. Suits like that are rarely won or lost. Lawyers for both sides make
a lot of money, a deal is made, a non-disclosure agreement is signed, and it
all goes away. That's the way of the world, for better or worse.
