It doesn't much in RAW in RAW, and the ISO it starts to do this is selectable in JPEG. What Pentax has done is severly suppressed chroma noise and gone light on the luminance NR so detail is preserved. The DPReview samples are actually pretty good at showing this. -Adam -- M.
