MY experience with a winder on a ME Super is that
it is bad for the camera I have had the mechanism
repaired once and recently I am starting to have
problems again. After using it continuously for eight
years I have removed it replaced the screw cover to
the body and put the winder away.
Also the winder does not always load properly, you never
feel 100% sure it has loaded at times. I never used it
in the continuous position because trying that position
a couple of times, it went through the whole roll of film.

Is it that difficult a job to crank a ME Super?
