You've apparently been napping, Rip. Or maybe just wanking. The Z06 Carbon 
Corvette is rather trim at right around 3000 pounds, and with plenty of carbon 
body panels and a number of titanium pieces, it has great balance. It can turn 
away any V-8 M3.

The C6.R competition Corvettes  scored five podium finishes in their first five 
events in GT2 racing. Watch for them at Le Mans in June.
