I wouldn't dream of buying anything with PAYPAL frankly, but I felt forced into accepting it. I go to PAYPAL the minute I get the notice that someone has paid me and transfer the money out to a checking account I set up only for getting their payments and those from half.com.
If someone that buys something from me has a paypal account or pays them in cash then no problem. HOWEVER , what really gets my goat is when someone tries to pay with a credit card they don't just tell the buyer that they cant use a credit card for purchase from me, which would be easy enough, they send me an email with the subject line: "You have received a credit card payment" it comes with a return email address of the buyer. - puts out all the details then: "Note: Personal Accounts may not receive payments funded with a credit card. You must upgrade to a Premier or Business account before this payment will be credited to your account. To learn more, and to accept or deny this payment please go to...." Then I deny it, of course, and if I haven't already given a heads up to the buyer they sometimes get miffed. I really hate having to use them, although I will say that once I set it up and people paid me who have paypal accounts, it went smoothly. Also seems you shouldn't have to wait 3-4 days to get your money deposited into your bank account. Bidpay has been great for my international sales. annsan - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. To unsubscribe, go to http://www.pdml.net and follow the directions.
