the K20D and K-7? DNG, PEF or both, if you know.
I'm reviewing the nifty Samsung NX10 for my (hacked) site. It's a
very
nice camera and uses Samsung's 14MP CMOS sensor, producing
4592x3056px
SRW (Samsung RAW) files in the 22.5 - 28.5 MB range (most are around
27.5MB), which seems huge to me. My K10D shoots ~10MB PEFs.
Looking through my files since I got the K20D, the smallest PEF is
10.51MB; the largest is 22.67MB.
Most seem to be in the 13.5 - 17.5MB range.
M,
K20 DNG's are 23+ MB
K7 DNG's are 13-18 MB. Lowest I have is 11 MB.
Regards, Bob S.
K-7 PEF files range from 11.0 to 15.5 from 2 PEF sessions before I
switched to DNG, 217 frames outdoors.
K20D PEFs range from 13.2 to 17.5 under the same conditions, well,
different days, different months.
