Perhaps PJ would like to come round and explain to my wife why he thinks that she shouldn't be allowed to ride in my BMW just because she has a California Handicapped placard.
My question isn't what kind of cars someone with a handicap placard should be driving or being driven around in. I don't care.
What I do question is whether you or any other person who is NOT eligible for the handicap placard should be using her placard to park in the handicap spaces when she's not there with you?
It doesn't really matter to me, since I don't have a handicap placard and don't park in handicap spaces, but I can see it might be a disservice to someone who really does need privilege and can't find a handicap space because of non-handicap persons abusing the system.
It's kind of obvious when some guy pulls into the handicap space, JUMPS out, grabs his gym bag and sprints up the stairs to Gold's Gym.
And I have seen that happen. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
