it's only come to a head because Adobe decided in lieu of Flash they'd
build a Flash-to-iPhone app "compiler" and Apple took a stand that apps
made with compilers like this weren't going to be allowed.
now, if Adobe created a Flash-to-HTML5 compiler, you could run the
result as web apps no problem ...
