Well, you would have to determine what factors are most important to you. As far as low light goes, it is the best Pentax body and possibly the best APS-C body from any maker. As far as size and ergonomics, it is great. Now, does it compare to the K20D or K7 when it comes to things like robust body, weather sealing, more specific options? Probably not. It is a generation ahead of the K20D so I find the AF to be a little better than the K20, probably not far from the K7.
You will need to tell us more of what is important to you. I can say that it has changed some of my shooting style and thinking because of the high ISO ability. You can dial up the ISO and get great shots.
