Several of us have them and by and large we're happy with them. I've been using one for a few months now and overall I'm very impressed by them. I do a lot of low-light work and simply put, the K-x is the best APS-C format camera with regards to high ISO performance (note I've. It's also nice and small and quite responsive. The only real weakness I've found is the metering, the K-x retains the older 16 zone meter which isn't all that reliable. The AF point issue (No AF point illumination in the viewfinder) isn't a problem for me as I simply locked the camera down to the centre point and leave it there, just like every other AF Pentax I've had. Overall, it's a whole lot of camera for the money, but it does have its limitations, primarily the basic build quality, small buffer,AA batteries (Battery life is pitiful compared to the D300 I used to have), no grip, no support for a remote release and poor Live View implementation. -- M.
