Not asleep, Paul, just working at the time for a software consultancy who saw PC's as the work of the devil, but could make a business deal with HP because of their history with them. That's why I worked exclusively with HP PC's for nearly two years: and yes, I did start with Visicalc too! Didn't think it was relevant to the thread though.

As far back as 1978, the Apple // was a hot seller for serious users, as it was the machine that ran Visicalc.
