I have used Kominek's here in Toronto for a few repairs on various Spotmatic
bodies over the years.  They seem to have an appreciation for mechanical
bodies, and know their way around the innards of old cameras.

That's almost certainly where I'll take the MX, and I'll let you know how they
do, and post something on your repair shop list.
