Hi Mike ... I've given the idea some thought - in fact, it was that idea some months ago that got me to thinking about being able to easily differentiate the camera bodies, but before taking a jewelers file to the film gate I was hoping for some other, less invasive ideas. Fortunately, there are a few bodies around on which I could practice, and not be too concerned if I screw up.
