The 3.3 foot length is sometimes too short for my purposes so I have a cable switch F that I cut into 2 pieces and attached a pair of 1/8" stereo mini connectors to cut ends. I have a 5 meter long cord with the same type connectors that I can insert into the cable switch when I need the extra cable length. -- David S.
